Jonah Birtwell

Jonah Birtwell is a halfling from the shire of Newtown, Connecticut who was born with gigantism, forcing him to integrate into human society where his stature is more common. In keeping with his roots, he doesn’t wear shoes, serenades with sweet songs and plucked rhythms, metalsmiths silver jewelry, and crafts poems of nature, religion, spirituality, love, and childhood recollections. Otherwise, he might just seem like a normal guy in a green tie and vest.

Jonah Birtwell graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in guitar performance in 2026, where he studied under Abby Zocher and Berta Rojas. He has worked with dozens of up-and-coming musicians, including collaborations with Serena Jade, Dumbest Fella Alive, Benji Jimenez, Dylan Ever, Maya Leibowitz, Celia Sieckert, Vanessa Torre, Nathan Haas, Jasperina Van Stuijvenberg, and many more. He released Opalite Child, his debut album, in 2025, which now boasts over 20,000 streams worldwide.
